党员教育培训工作是党的建设的一项基础性工程。党的十七届四中全会通过的《关于加强和改进新形势下党的建设若干重大问题的决定》明确指出,要落实基层党员教育培训规划,建立基层党员轮训制度,拓宽党员教育渠道。高等学校是汇聚各类优秀人才的高地,高职院校已成为高等教育的重要力量,是培养高素质技能型人才的摇篮。加强对广大师生党员的教育培训,不仅是新时期高等教育发展的需要,更是实施科教兴国战略和人才强国战略的必然要求。
Party members’ education and training work is a fundamental project for party building. The “Decision on Some Important Issues concerning Strengthening and Improving the Party Construction in the New Situation” passed by the Fourth Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee clearly states that it is necessary to implement the education and training plan for grassroots party members, establish a rotation training system for grassroots party members and broaden the channels for educating party members. Colleges and universities are the highlands where all kinds of talents are brought together. Higher vocational institutes have become an important force in higher education and the cradle for cultivating high-quality skilled personnel. Strengthening the education and training of a large number of party members and students is not only the need for the development of higher education in the new era, but also the inevitable requirement for the strategy of rejuvenating our country through science and education and the strategy of strengthening our nation through talents.
