Innovation Unit Grand Prize Advertising Agency: THE BARBARIAN GROUP New York, USA Advertiser: The Barbarian Group Innovation Unit is a new unit launched this year in Cannes, and the review process is also different from other units. The judges first selected 25 finalists from 270 entries, and then decided on winning entries based on the performance of 25 agencies’ on-site proposals. The final grand prize was won by the “Cinder” of The Barbarian Group, a New York advertising agency. Cinder is a digital encoding tool that provides creative people with creative digital presentation. Whether it’s an interactive vision of a graphic, video, audio, exhibition, or brand, it can be coded by cinder. This tool-type work is obviously favored by advertisers, and Cinder’s significance lies in that it may be more widely used in society and education in the future.
