CA_(125) is a cell surface high-molecular-weight mucoid-like glycoprotein, first discovered by Bast in 1981, more than 80% of non-mucinous epithelial ovarian cancer can express this antigen, in addition to ovarian cancer, CA_(125) and lung cancer Closely related, studies have shown that CA_(125) has good features of lung cancer markers and is a good indicator of prognosis of lung cancer. This article outlines the relationship between CA125 and lung cancer, and explores the significance of CA125 as a lung cancer marker. 1 The discovery and origin of CA_(125) 1981 Bast et al. immunized BALB/C mice with an epithelial cell line OVCA433 established by ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma and immunized mice with splenocytes and P_3/NS-1 three days later. After myeloma fusion, a monoclonal cell named OC_(125) was obtained after screening and isolation. The cell secreted a monoclonal antibody against ovarian cancer antigen, which is a monoclonal immunoglobulin (IgG), by OC_ ( 125) The recognized antigen molecule is CA_(125).
