1.前言对于已形成产业的数据库的生产、提供、利用的流通状况至今已发表了许多资料。日本科学技术情报中心(JICST)已根据这些资料并特别是在分析科学技术领域的国外数据库的流通状况的基础上,为事业发展提出一份咨询报告。本文就打算对此作些介绍。2.数据库的生产状况美国的卡特拉/埃尔塞维尔(Cuadra/Elsovier)出版社和埃尔塞维尔科学出版社出版的数据库名录乃是了解世界数据库生产状况的最好的基本资料。但可惜它们对数据库的领域分类和类型分类(文献、事实和全文型等)不统一,因此统计起来不便。这里是以日本通产
1. Preface Much information has been published so far on the state of circulation of the production, provision and utilization of databases that form an industry. Japan Science and Technology Information Center (JICST) has put forward a consultation report on business development based on these materials and especially on the basis of analyzing the circulation status of foreign databases in science and technology.
