祁连区中侏罗世煤田多为零星散布、彼此弧立的中小型盆地(图1)。对于其含煤沉积环境,一般都认为是山间盆地和山前盆地[1]。笔者认为,这仅仅是单独研究某个盆地所取得的认识,尚需进行整体的、系统的研究。本文试图以含煤地层分区为基础,从纵向上研究含煤地层的发育特征,从横向上研究其展布特点。同时利用主要煤田大量的钻探资料,编制出煤层以下的砂岩体形态
