Objective To analyze the influence of body mass index (BMI) on cerebrovascular hemodynamics (CVHI). Methods From January 2015 to January 2016, CVHI was used to evaluate the risk of disease. A total of 23 442 physical examinations were performed on the CVHI test in Xinjiang Medical University Health Management Center of Urumqi and Jinan Electric Power People’s Hospital for cross-sectional survey. According to the diagnostic criteria, the subjects were divided into normal group, overweight group and obesity group. The risk factors were investigated and the physical examination was performed at the same time. The prevalence of each risk factor in 3 groups was analyzed and described. Results The results of overweight or obesity in more men than women, Uygur more than other ethnic groups, more than 60 years old more than other age groups, overweight and obesity groups in the proportion of CVHI abnormalities in the population than in the normal group; overweight group and The prevalence of CVHI risk factors such as hypertension, dyslipidemia and alcohol consumption in obesity group were significantly higher than those in normal group (all P <0.05). Unconditional multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the higher the BMI, the higher the abnormal risk of CVHI (OR = 2.056,95% CI = 1.924-2.1988; OR = 4.340,95% CI 4.020-4.668), the difference was statistically significant P <0.05). Conclusions The higher the BM I, the higher the risk of abnormal CVHI, and provide the basis for future intervention.
