发展的必要已经毋庸置疑,但关键是能否保证将对环境的影响降到最低。今年的4月7日,中央电视台《新闻联播》以《毒性之争引发的PX“词条保卫战”》为题用了将近4分钟的时间对一则社会新闻进行了报道:3月30日,有网友利用百度百科词条可以修改的特点将PX的毒性从“低毒”改成了“剧毒”。尽管很多网友对这个篡改的内容进行修正,但是连续几次又都被改了回来。此后,这个词条在高峰时几乎每隔半小时就会被刷新一次。5天内,词条被反复修改多达35次。看到这样的情形,清华大学的几个学生当即决定用所学的知识来解释PX。清华大学化工系大四学生常宽表示:“出来用我们所学纠正民众的一些误解,然后来捍卫科学的真理。”清华大学化工系大四学生蔡达理更是直言:“我清华化工今日誓死捍卫词条。”最终,清华大学化工系的学生获得了这场词条保卫战的胜利。
