词汇记忆策略在中国学生英语学习中起到重要作用,某种程度上说,词汇量决定着英语学习的成败。通过采用实证研究的方法,研究潍坊第一中学120名高中生的词汇记忆策略使用情况,并探讨英语成绩与词汇记忆策略之间的关系。结果表明,这些学生运用记忆策略并不广泛而频繁,重复策略是使用频率最高的,但是与英语成绩呈现负相关。由此可见,教师应该引导学生使用有效科学的记忆策略。
Vocabulary learning strategies play an important role in Chinese students’ English learning. To a certain extent, vocabulary determines the success or failure of English learning. Through the empirical research, this paper studies the use of vocabulary memory strategies of 120 high school students in Weifang No.1 Middle School and explores the relationship between English achievement and vocabulary memory strategies. The results show that these students use memory strategies are not widely and frequently, repetitive strategies are the most frequently used, but negatively correlated with the English score. Thus, teachers should guide students to use effective and scientific memory strategies.
