康有为的君主立宪思想,是民族资产阶级争取政治权力、反对封建专制斗争的产物和理论总结。在当时的历史条件下,对于打击封建统治,挽救民族危亡起了积极的历史进步作用。君主立宪思想的核心是要建立起资产阶级的议会制度,使民族资产阶级取得合法的政治地位。这一思想打破了封建正统思想的束缚,是当时向封建制斗争的主要思想武器,同时为资产阶级革命思想的传播与发展起了促进的作用,应该给予充分的肯定。这与后来成为维护封建统治的反动思想不可同日而语。
The constitutional monarchy of Kang Youwei is the product and theoretical summary of the national bourgeoisie’s struggle for political power and the feudal autocratic struggle. Under the historical conditions at that time, it played a positive historical progressive role in cracking down the feudal rule and saving the nation from danger. The core of the constitutional monarchy is to establish a bourgeois parliamentary system so that the national bourgeoisie can obtain a legitimate political status. This idea broke the shackles of the feudal orthodoxy and was the main ideological weapon in the struggle against the feudal system at the time. At the same time, it promoted the spread and development of bourgeois revolutionary ideas and should be fully affirmed. This is not the same as the reactionary thinking that later became the rule of feudalism.
