近年来,全国各级人民法院充分发挥审判职能作用,依法审判了一批危害食品安全犯罪案件,严惩了一批危害食品安全犯罪分子。——王长兵等生产、销售有毒食品,生产、销售伪劣产品案(生产、销售假白酒案件)在这一案件中,被告人王长兵等人生产、销售的假白酒致使当地众多居民中毒,并造成5人死亡、6人重伤、11人轻伤、2人轻微伤的严重后果。该案件经湖北省宜昌市中级人民法院一审判决、湖北省高级人民法院二审裁定,王长兵数罪并罚,决定执行死刑,缓期2年执行,剥夺政治权利终
