随着现代高新技术的飞速发展,以计算机技术、网络通信技术为代表的因特网的迅速崛起,推动了人类社会进入信息社会。图书馆也因此进入全新的发展时期,高校图书馆在走过传统图书馆阶段,向自动化图书馆阶段迈进之时,又迎来了数字图书馆阶段。这将是图书馆发展史上的一次革命。在传统图书馆向数字图书馆过渡、转变、发展的新形势下,读者工作也随之发生深刻的变化。
With the rapid development of modern high-tech, the rapid rise of the Internet represented by computer technology and network communication technology has promoted the entry of human society into the information society. Therefore, the library has entered a new period of development. When the university library goes through the traditional library stage and advances to the automated library stage, the university library ushers in the digital library stage.
