Marathon Monitor recently completed the installation of two programmable control systems at the Efco hermetic quench furnace at Cincinnati Milacron West Midlands Machine Tools Manufacturing Plant. The new facility incorporates state-of-the-art process control technology to adjust the furnace’s full time / temperature / carbon potential operation while being converted to the BOC Endomix atmosphere system. The carbon potential is measured by the state-of-the-art Marathon carbon probe, the ultra-probe, which is a well-known further development of the industry-standard Carbon-Seer probe in the last decade.
