The COVID-19 pandemic is testing both China and the world..
For China， the world’s second-largest economy， while remaining cautious about a possi--ble second wave of an epidemic， it is imperative to resume work. Many international companies have supply chains running through this country’s manufacturing centers and products of world-famous Chinese brands are finished here. China’s small and medium-sized companies are struggling to adapt to the “new normal” during the pandemic. The Chinese govern--ment is trying its best to provide favorable conditions for the resumption of work and produc--tion for all kinds of enterprises. Fortunately， new technologies –especially 5G networks – can help fill in the gaps.
The future is unclear， but citizens， companies， and nations must ask through planning and action for the kind of future they want. This month， let’s find out what compa--nies operating in China are doing to get back to work， both Chinese and international firms. We will not get it perfect， but we all must do what we can from wherever we are to get the world going again..
