受教育部委托,四川省教育厅于2004年开始,成立了四川省高职高专院校人才培养工作水平评估委员会,贯彻“以评促改,以评促建,以评促管,评建结合,重在建设”方针,全面启动了四川省行政区内各高职高专院校的人才培养工作水平评估工作。基于正确把握高等教育的规律性,凸显高职教育的特殊性和差异性,规范了评估工作程序,在评估组织方式、信息采集与处理、评估测量技术等方面进行了卓有成效的探索
