那些非西方社会其实只是在受到西方冲击并且纷纷效法西方以后,其生存环境才变得如此恶劣。因此,在迄今为止的文明进程中,最不公正的历史事实之一是,原本产自某一文明内部的恶果,竟要由所有其他文明来痛苦地承受。
Those non-Western societies were actually living in such a bad state only after being hit by the West and following the West. Therefore, one of the most unjust historical facts in the process of civilization so far is that the evil consequences that originally originated in the interior of a civilization should be endured painfully by all other civilizations.
