当前,乡(镇)领导的形象、素质、工作好坏,对所辖区域的社会、经济发展起着决定性的作用。笔者认为,要把乡(镇)工作做好,乡(镇)领导应注意以下问题:一,要注意塑造自己良好的形象。领导权威是当权者必备的条件,而领导者的形象是建立领导权威的重要基础。我国乡(镇)领导的任职方式,基本上是两种:一是由上级提出候选人,通过代表会议选举。二是上级直接任命。选举或任命的职务,都属于外界赋予的范畴,它只能产生强制性的影响力。一个领导者,仅靠这种外界赋予的影响力是远远不够的,真正的威信或称之为权
