我国将从农民工队伍中推选代表进入下一届全国人大,这是今年全国人代会上传出的最具亮点的新闻之一(相关报道详见本刊今年第10期《农民工,从社会底层走向权力殿堂》)。其实,在一些地区,农民工代表进入地方人大已不是新闻,但这些先行的民主试验在改善当地政治生态的同时,也遭遇了诸多困境。本期“民主”专栏即以浙江省义乌市为解读样本,全面展示农民工代表的真实状态。
Our country will select representatives from migrant workers to enter the next NPC. This is one of the most brilliant news stories handed out at the National People’s Congress this year (for related reports, see our 10th volume this year. “Migrant workers, from the community Bottom to power temple ”). In fact, in some areas, it is no news that migrant workers representatives enter the local people’s congress, but these advanced democratic experiments have also encountered many difficulties while improving the local political ecology. This issue of “Democracy” is a sample of Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province, a comprehensive demonstration of the true status of migrant workers’ representatives.
