为了更好地保护、继承河南优秀建筑历史文化遗产,弘扬民族传统和中原文化特色,促进社会主义新农村建设,加强对历史文化名镇、名村的保护和规划建设管理,保存和延续文化遗产的真实历史信息和独特价值,有效保护和利用不可再生的历史文化资源,河南省政府公布了河南省第五批历史文化名镇、名村。本文对我省第五批历史文化名镇、名村的历史、建筑、文化、军事、艺术和科研价值作了简述,呼吁要重视和切实保护好这些真实、完整的历史文化遗产的风貌。
