When people refer to the modern Hui nationality, they naturally think of the prestigious Hui revolutionaries like Ma Jun and the anti-Japanese hero Ma Benzhai, while others are scarcely mentioned. In fact, among the Hui anti-Japanese heroes, there are heroes who are very similar to Ma Zunzhai’s. The anti-Japanese hero and Communist Party member Ma Jun we introduce here today have the same surname and their heroic deeds are very similar to those of Mu Ben Zhai. Their mothers, like the mother of this vegetarianism, are all caught by the Japanese army to go on a hunger strike. The difference is that Ma Benzhai is sick, while Ma Jun, Mr. Ma Juntu, was sacrificed by the Japanese army in injecting poison after invalidating capitation. But for various reasons, the story of the national hero is little known. On the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, let us open this dusty history and reproduce the glorious deeds of this anti-Japanese national hero. It is not without educational significance for today’s youth.
