四邑话是粤语的一个次方言，其代词系统体现出诸多与粤语的代表方言广州话不同的特色。全文分三部分：第一部分讨论四邑话人称代词的三种类型（变韵型、变调型和交叉型），指出一些方言单、复数形式蕴涵的层次差异；第二部分描述指示代词，除讨论远、近指的基本形式外，还指出方式指示代词和指示代词复数词尾与广州话的差别；第三部分对四邑话表地点、状态、原因、人称的疑问代词进行描述，并探讨某些音变现象。
Siyi dialect is a second dialect of Cantonese, and its pronoun system shows many characteristics different from Cantonese dialect Guangzhou dialect.
