磁峰窑位于彭州市西北40公里的磁峰镇,1976年3月,四川省博物馆、重庆市博物馆共同组成的联合调查小组在进行省内古窑址普查时发现该窑址,因地名称之为磁峰窑。窑址地处龙门山脉与成都平原交界的山前深丘地带,这里河流、小溪众多,最主要的两条是蟠江河(俗称小河)和土溪河(俗称大河),由北向南流经磁峰镇,汇入湔江。窑址背山临水,附近盛产瓷土、原煤、釉料,并且有丰富的石英石、长石和耐火土等资源(图一)。
Magnetic peak kiln is located 40 kilometers northwest of Pengzhou magnetic peak town, March 1976, Sichuan Provincial Museum, Chongqing Museum jointly composed of the joint investigation team in the province during the ancient kiln site census found that the site name Magnetic peak kiln. The kiln site is located in the piedmont hillock area at the junction of the Longmenshan Mountain and the Chengdu Plain. There are many rivers and brooks. The two most important ones are the Panjiang River and the Tuxi River, flowing from north to south Magnetic peak town, import Hanjiang. Back-hill water near the kiln, near the rich porcelain soil, coal, glaze, and rich in quartz, feldspar and refractory soil and other resources (Figure 1).
