On the horrible night of April 14, 1912, a total of 705 people were saved on the Titanic and 1,582 were killed. Charles Letler, 38, is Titanic Second Lieutenant, who was the last survivor to be put on a lifeboat from the icy seawater. He wrote a memoir to tell the details of a shipwreck. In the face of a shipwreck, the captain ordered the first to allow lifeboats for women and children, and many passengers seemed calm and some refused to be separated from their families. I shouted: Woman and children come! But I could not find a few who are willing to leave their loved ones and alone on the lifeboat woman or child! Letre recalled: as long as I am alive, that night I will never forget!
