我省开展“双万结对共建文明”活动,充分发挥文明单位的社会资源力量,积极参与和助推新农村建设。2005年初,针对农村文化建设相对薄弱、农村文明程度相对落后的实际,浙江省文明委开展了以1万个文明单位与1万个行政村结对共建文明为内容的“双万结对共建文明”活动,以充分挖掘文明单位的资源优势,充分发挥城市对农村的辐射带动作用,实现以城带乡、以工促农、城乡协调发展。

At the beginning of 2005, in response to the fact that the rural culture was relatively weak and the rural civilization lagged behind, the Civilized Committee of Zhejiang Province carried out a policy of “building 10,000 civilizations with 10,000 civilized units and 10,000 administrative villages as the content.” Civilized "activities in order to fully exploit the resource advantages of civilized units, give full play to the role of cities in promoting rural radiation, and realize the coordinated development of cities with townships, work-based promotion of agriculture and urban-rural development.
