《光绪顺天府志》中关于墨盒和陈寅生的记载周继烈老师《铜匣古韵》第91页提到《光绪顺天府志》中关于墨盒的记载。“铜墨盒按:有白铜、紫铜、黄铜三种,或方,或圆,或如腰子形,始自道光年间,今则盛行矣。盖上或镌篆楷,或镂花木,字有作蝇头楷书者,如兰亭序,如柏庐家训。数年前,以陈寅生刊者为最工,近则业此者甚多,终逊陈刊者也。”——《光绪顺天府志——食货志》
