乡村医生是指经过考核达到中专水平的赤脚医生。它是赤脚医生提高到一个新水平的标志。如果说,赤脚医生是初级卫生技术人员的话,那么乡村医生就该是中级卫生技术人员。按照国务院1981年2月27日批转卫生部《关于合理解决赤脚医生补助问题的报告》的规定,对授予乡村医生职称者,相应地给予一定的经济补贴。这对稳定农村基层卫生队伍起了积极的作用。
Rural doctors refer to barefoot doctors who have passed the assessment to reach the secondary school level. It is a sign that barefoot doctors have improved to a new level. If the barefoot doctor is a junior health technician, then the rural doctor should be an intermediate health technician. In accordance with the State Council’s “Report on the Proper Solution to the Problem of Barefoot Doctors’ Compensation” issued by the Ministry of Health on February 27, 1981, a certain economic subsidy was granted to those who have been granted the titles of rural doctors. This has played a positive role in stabilizing the rural grassroots health team.
