文章在对已有的引文速度研究现状调研的基础上,对引文速度赋予了新的含义,指论文从发表年起,在其整个被引生命周期内,每个生命周期阶段中论文的被引的平均被引频次以及各生命周期阶段所需的时长。并以“图灵奖文献”为例,将引文的时序分布与生命周期理论相结合起来,从引文所处于被引生命周期的不同阶段所需的时间、成长期阶段平均被引频次速度两个角度进行了探析。得出了图灵奖获得者的文献的被引生命周期一般较长,成长期较短,以3年居多,并且成长期越长的话,其稳定期越长,说明文献的生命力越大,影响越久远等结论。
