成矮2号,是由两个矮杆玉米自交系1157×2001而育成的矮杆玉米单交种。亲本1157、2001都是我所矮杆玉米组育成的自交系。母本1157全生育期105天,株高97厘米,穗位高21厘米,籽粒黄色、马齿型。它是由矮生玉米原始材料矮11与高杆玉米自交系金57杂交后转育而成。父本2001全生育期106天,株高103厘米,穗位高25厘米,籽粒黄色,硬粒型。它是矮生原始材料203与高杆玉米自交系公社号—1杂交后转育而成的。两个亲本生育期一致,在配制杂交种时可同期播种。成矮2号经过杂交种比较试验与生产鉴定,在四川条件下适合与红苕等作物间套作和净作,密植高产,表现良好。成矮2号杂交种,春播生育期97天,在四川属于中熟偏早类型,在密度每亩3500株与5,000株的
