希腊政府2002年颁布的《文物法律38条》明确画线:1838年之前所有的文物、古董、陶器、金银铜器、瓷器、手稿、资料均属国家;属于祖传的,名义上可属私人,但实质上属于国家,禁止买卖。如私下出境,视同贩卖毒品;如出境展览不归,则予以刑法处罚。1838年之后的陶瓷器、金银铜器、图片、资料,除与重大历史事件和历史人物相关之外,允许私人收藏与流通。1838年,即中国清宣宗道光十八年。
