金陵1号小麦是我所于1973年以南大8号为母本与St202为父本进行杂交,经系统选育而成的小麦新品种。在选育过程中,自F_2代开始,以早熟、矮秆、单株性状好、产量高、适应性强、抗性较好等为主要目标性状进行选择,至F_5代性状基本稳定,其中以7304-5株系表现较好,综合性状达到了育种目标的要求。该品系1979年进入鉴定圃后,表现最好,产量亦最高,比对照品种扬麦3号增产显著。1980、1981年参加南京市
