《崔陟传》是反映赵纬韩经历的一部小说。它的背景涵盖了朝鲜、中国、日本甚至是越南,地理范围非常大,这在韩国的古小说史中是很难见到的。《崔陟传》中出现的地理方面的情景不是单纯想象中的地理,而是以现实为基础的地理。这部小说基于下面四个方面才得以完成。一是基于作家赵纬韩的中国燕行经历。二是由于壬辰倭乱,对日本等地的地理也产生了兴趣。三是和来自江南地区的明军有过交流。四是当时朝鲜文人之间盛行熟读《西湖游览志》等中国地理书的江南热。
“Cui Wei Biography” is a novel reflecting the experience of Zhao Wei Han. Its background covers North Korea, China, Japan and even Vietnam. Its geographical scope is very large, which is hardly seen in South Korea’s history of ancient novels. The scene of Geography in Cui Wei Chuan is not geography in pure imagination, but geography based on reality. This novel is based on the following four aspects to be completed. One is based on the experience of author Yan Wei in China. Second, due to the Invincible Japanese invasion, Japan and other places have also generated interest in geography. Third, there are exchanges with the Ming army from the Jiangnan region. Fourth, the prevalence of Korean literati was familiar with the “geography of the West Lake” and other Chinese geography books Jiangnan fever.
