英语阅读就是利用相关的英语知识和非英语知识去解读包含一定英语知识和非英语知识的阅读材料。英语阅读可为学生创造大量获取语言知识和大量运用语言的机会和条件。在近几年英语高考中阅读能力题占了60%,因此,阅读教学在英语教学中具有非常重要的地位。从2007年重庆市英语高考复习研讨会上我们得知,近几年重庆市高考阅读纲外词汇增多,阅读量加大,阅读速度加快,阅读的取材紧密结合了当前我国和世界政治、经济、科学以及市场方面的变化趋势,阅读中的数据来源真实可靠,选材地道,阅读试题以单学科知识为主,增加综合测试能力,向跨学科过渡。那么,在高中英语教学中,怎样进行英语阅读教学就显得十分关键。

So, in high school English teaching, how to teach English reading is very crucial.
