情景教学指的是教师用语言、教具及各种教辅设备,为学生营造一个融视、听、说于一体的语言环境,调动学生的非智力因素,加深对学习内容的理解,完成对知识的掌握。在英语教学中,创设情景时所使用的彩图、简笔画、实物、表情、动作、姿势等,均能刺激学生的大脑视觉和听觉系统,启发学生的形象思维,活跃课堂气氛,激发学生的学习兴趣,促动学生积极情感的发展。
