本刊执行副主编,中科院系统科学研究所研究员王毓云和他的年青的同事们承担六五、七五国家重大攻关课题《黄淮海平原综合治理与合理开发》,获得1987年中科院科技进步特等奖。在此项课题的攻坚中,他发挥了经济数学和系统分析等领域的知识优势。他在经济数学方面取得了研究成果,不仅受到国内同行高度评价,在国外同行中也产了相当大的影响。美国科学院院士,国际著名的经济学家L·Hurwicz亲笔写的邀请他访问美国Minnesota经济系的信中写道:“你在资源配置数学理论这一领域内的工作是独创的和高度重要的,这不仅对我目前的研究有特殊的价值,同时对我们系或我校其他系的同事也是有益处的”。
Wang Yuxun, a researcher at the Institute of Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and his young colleagues, took charge of the comprehensive management and rational development of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain in major topics of the 65th and 75th Five-Year Plan, and won the 1987 Grand Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of Chinese Academy of Sciences. In tackling this issue, he played a knowledge advantage in areas such as economic mathematics and systematic analysis. His research achievements in economic mathematics have not only been highly praised by domestic counterparts but also produced considerable influence among foreign counterparts. The letter from the American Academy of Sciences and internationally renowned economist L Hurwicz, who wrote an invitation to visit Minnesota’s Department of Economics in the United States, wrote: “Your work in the field of mathematical theory of resource allocation is original and highly significant. This is not only of special value to my current research, but also to my colleagues in our department or other departments of my school. ”
