应用反转录-聚合酶链式反应(RT-PCR)和3H-胸腺嘧啶核苷参入技术发现,在正常生理状态下,内皮素可与大鼠血管平滑肌细胞(VSMC)上内皮素A型受体、内皮素B型受体结合,通过调控一氧化氮合成酶(NOS)mRNA转录表达水平,从而调节VSMC的分裂和增殖。白细胞介素-1对VSMC中NOS基因表达的促进作用和对VSMC分裂的影响,可能部分是通过内皮素及其受体这一途径完成的。

The effect of interleukin-1 on the expression of NOS gene in VSMCs and the effect on the division of VSMCs may be partially mediated by endothelin and its receptors.
