为了推动中国——瑞典两国之间的跨文化交流,促进文学创作界、学术界和翻译界的高层互动,北京大学外国语学院世界文学研究所、瑞典驻华大使馆、瑞典文学院、人民文学出版社、中国翻译协会于2005年10月19-20日在北京大学联合举办了“斯特林堡国际学术研讨会”。瑞典驻华大使雍博瑞(Borje Ljunggren),北京大学副校长吴志攀、中国翻译协会常务副会长任吉生等出席会议并致辞。大会主题发言嘉宾囊括了国际斯特林堡研究领域最有代表性的人物: 瑞典文学院院士、诺贝尔文学奖资深评委、著名汉学家马悦然(Goran Malmqvist)、国际斯特林堡学会会长比约恩·迈达尔(Bjorn Meidal)教授、瑞典国家现代艺术馆馆长欧勒·格兰纳夫(Olle Granath)教授,瑞典皇家剧院首席导演希尔达·海尔威格(Hilda Hellwig)女士、瑞典著名汉学家林西莉(Cecilia Lindqvist)教授等。中国著名作家李锐、莫言、余华、赵玫,斯特林堡的权威译者、原中国外文局人民画报社副总编、瑞典文翻译家李之义先生也都相继做了主题发言。
In order to promote cross-cultural exchanges between China and Sweden and promote high-level interaction among literary, academic and translators, the Institute of World Literature, Peking University, the Swedish Embassy in China, the Swedish Literature Institute, and the People’s Literature Publishing Society, China Translation Association in October 2005 19-20 at the Peking University jointly organized the “Strindberg International Symposium.” Swedish Ambassador to China Borje Ljunggren, Vice President Wu Zhiban of Peking University, and Ren Jisheng, executive vice president of China Translation Association, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Keynote speakers at the conference include the most representative figures in the international field of Strinberg: academician of the Swedish Academy of Arts, senior judge of the Nobel Prize in literature, famous sinologist Goran Malmqvist, President of the International Stirling Institute Professor Bjorn Meidal, Olle Granath, Director of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Sweden; Hilda Hellwig, Chief Director of the Royal Swedish Theater; Famous sinologist Professor Cecilia Lindqvist and so on. The famous Chinese writers Li Rui, Mo Yan, Yu Hua, Zhao Mei, the authoritative translator of Strindberg, former deputy director of People’s Pictorial of China Foreign Languages Bureau, and Swedish translator Li Zhiyi also made keynote speeches successively.
