上海市自然科学基金项目——提高潮汐预报精度方法与应用软件研究,是对潮汐学中实用预报技术的更高层次的探索,已由上海计算技术研究所全面完成,并于4月1日在沪通过技术鉴定.在浅海河口地区,由于曲折的岸线、海底摩擦作用,以及与浅海分潮有关的不同分潮之间相互作用的影响,使以往潮汐分析和预报模式在实际应用中存在一定误差,尤其是对于高低潮位和潮时预报,往往与实际测量数值偏差较大.此项研究工作较好地解决了这一问题,提高了潮汐预报的精度.其取得的重要成果有:
