Karez, with its long history, is a unique water conservancy project that uses groundwater to create an irrigation project created by the ancient working people in the long-term struggle for production. Over the years, it has been paid attention by some experts and scholars both at home and abroad and carried out many aspects of the research on the origin of Karez. To conduct a comprehensive and systematic research on the Karez wells, we put forward more reliable data of the complete system and laid the foundation for better development, utilization and transformation of Karez in the future.
