Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention on the level of blood lipid in patients with dyslipidemia under the framework of self-efficacy theory. Methods A total of 177 patients with dyslipidemia who met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of the study were divided into control group (n = 90) and intervention group (n = 87) according to random number table. The control group was given routine health Education, intervention group to give self-efficacy intervention, a total of 6 months. Patients’ self-efficacy scores, body mass index and lipids biochemical indexes were evaluated before and after intervention. Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in general condition, self-efficacy score, body mass index and serum lipids and biochemistry in the two groups (P> 0.05). After intervention for 6 months, compared with the control group, (P <0.05). The scores of TC, TG and LDL-C decreased and the level of HDL-C increased (P <0.05). Conclusion Self-efficacy intervention can improve the blood lipid status of patients with dyslipidemia.
