It is important to choose the best crushing design in mine design. Two basic methods are considered here: ① drilling and blasting methods; D’Appolonia, Pittsburgh Consulting Engineering, Inc. has developed a set of nomogram designs for a blasthole set for an open pit mine. Based on these nomograms, an interactive computer model for calculating different blasting design parameters was developed using the Fortran 77 language.
