将军象闪电,行走如飞; 将军似疾风,横扫沙场。 如果有人探寻杨得志上将用兵的最大特点是什么:那么“民贵神速”,将是他得到的最终结论。 将军的性格快、思维快、动作快、用兵快,将军的一生都离不开“快”字。当《上将杨得志》完稿后,我准备送将军过目,想象中将军会象年轻人一样,大步流星地向我走来。 然而,事实已经不可能了。去年3月20日,我打电话给杨将军的女儿杨华荣,约见将军,得到的答复是“我父亲正在病中,待病情好转,我再和你联系。”在这之后,我焦急地等待着,十天、二十天、五十天……谁知,将军一病不起,220天后的10月25日,一代骁将杨得志与世长辞。 拿着未能让将军过目的文稿,1994年11月9日我来到解放军三○一医院,与将军告别,以了却心中的遗憾。将军安详地躺在花丛中,静静地安息着,但在我的眼中将军却是在飞步奔赴沙场……
