Overview of small and micro enterprises in Qinghai Province and financing status Small and micro enterprises occupy an important position in the province’s economy. According to the data from the Third National Economic Census of Qinghai Province, at the end of 2013, there were 16,354 corporate units in Qinghai Province, accounting for 94.1% of the total corporate legal persons. The number of employed persons in small and micro enterprises and legal person units was 358,154, accounting for 48.8% of the total employment of legal persons in enterprises. The total assets of small and micro enterprises reached 702.76 billion yuan, accounting for 34.8% of all enterprises. There are 226,600 households engaged in self-employed households throughout the province, effectively bringing about local employment and economic development. Small and micro enterprise financing has made rapid progress.
