众所周知,初中英语是联系小学英语和高中英语的重要桥梁,学生只有在初中阶段把英语学好才能在高中阶段更好地接受新的知识,实现新的成长和发展进步。因此,提高初中英语课堂教学的有效性不言而喻,而在素质教育的今天,在给初中英语教学实践工作带来了更多新的发展机遇的同时,也提出了新的要求,所以,在素质教育背景下提高初中英语教学的有效性这一课题得到了更多学者和一线教师的关注。而本文综合理论分析和实践研究相结合的方式,在分析了初中英语教学低效的原因之后,就素质教育背景下如何提高初中英语教学的有效性提出了相关的建议和意见。
