陶行知是我国儿童创造教育理论和实践的先驱。他指出,“手和脑一块干,是创造教育的开始。”但是,对于现代的中国家庭,真正让孩子动手的机会并不太多。其实,家长在家里可借鉴行知先生的“六大解放”思想,为孩子创设宽松的环境,根据幼儿的特点,给孩子以动手的机会,让儿童自己动手操作,适当安排,也能收到事半功倍的效果。作为家长和老师,我们应多给孩子更多的鼓励和称赞,让孩子不但拥有一双灵巧的手,还因为这双手会变得愈加聪明,让幼儿的智慧从手指尖上迸发,用这双手创造出丰富多彩的世界。
