今年是实施西部大开发战略1 0周年。实施西部大开发战略是党中央高瞻远瞩,总揽全局,面向新世纪作出的重大决策。事实证明,西部大开发不仅有力地促进了西部地区的发展,也为全国发展开辟了更为广阔的空间。经过10年的不懈努力,我省各个领域取得了巨大成就,经济总量实现突破性增长。实施西部大开发之前,我省国内生产总值还不到1000亿元。2009年,在金融危机影响经济发展极度困难的情况下,达到了3380亿元。尽管人均GDP只有全国平均水平的54%,但与自身比较,我省人均GDP仍上了一个大台阶:过去只有几百美元,如今已超过1700美元。这10年,我省经济社会进入了快速发展、科学发展、和谐发展的轨道,实现了历史性跨越。这10年,是我省经济发展速度最快、各项社会事业变化最大、人民群众得实惠最多的10年。10年崛起新西部;10年崛起新陇原。一人富有朝气和魅力的甘肃,已经呈现在世人面前。
