During the two-day event at the first UAE Drones for Good Award held in the UAE, 40 participants demonstrated their projects to international reviewers. The crashworthy drone ”Gimball“ developed by EPFL Flyability drone came out on top and won a grand prize of one million U.S. dollars (about 6.893 million yuan).
