“King of Stone” Zhang Jing was a Linhe people in Inner Mongolia. In the late 1950s, he was mistakenly labeled as a rightist and subsequently labeled as a counter-revolutionary. Unexpectedly, decades of exile living on the Gobi Desert in northwestern Inner Mongolia made him indissoluble with the Kistler of the Desert and became China’s “Stone King of the Desert”, a well-known overseas Chinese. He said it was a blessing through a disgrace. Beijing’s “Desert Kistler Pavilion” Zhang Jing desert Gobi Desert first move thousands of miles to Beijing.
