群众路线是我们党的生命线和根本工作路线,也是做好人大工作,实行人民当家作主的重要保证。人大作为国家权力机关,必须紧密结合人大工作的职能特点,密切联系群众,找准联系群众的方向和着力点,植根于民,才能切实提高人大工作的实效,使人大工作更有生命力。然而,在当前的人大工作中,一些现象值得我们去思考:例如调研活动,只去到部门一级,没有深入群众,听部门说的多,听群众说的少;又如组织人大代表视察,所到之处听到的往往都是振奋人心的业绩,听不到真话,找不到问题,视察活动成了“例行公事”……
