1962年以来,作者发表了几篇报告,论述了在特别考虑到水稻的辐射敏感性后,慢性γ射线照射水稻生长植株诱发突变的有效方法。大约获得1,400个稳定的明显性状的突变系,并研究了有关它们的农艺性状。研究工作集中在早熟、丰产能力、抗稻瘟病和高蛋白质含量这些有用突变上,看来对水稻改良有直接的贡献。
Since 1962, the authors published several reports discussing an effective method of inducing mutations induced by chronic γ-rays in rice-growing plants, particularly considering the radiosensitivity of rice. Approximately 1,400 mutant lines with stable and significant traits were obtained and their agronomic traits were studied. Research has focused on such useful mutations as precocity, high yield, blast resistance and high protein content that appear to have a direct contribution to rice improvement.
