On December 28 and 29, 1992, the Symposium on Socialist Theory with Chinese Characteristics in Party School System Construction in Liaoning Province was held in the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee. This seminar is held in order to implement the spirit of the 14th CPC National Congress and thoroughly understand Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s theory on building socialism with Chinese characteristics. The leading comrades of the relevant departments of the provincial party committee and more than 50 theoretical workers from the provincial party school system attended the meeting. The seminar centered on how to understand the overall construction of the theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and how to understand the socialist market economy two issues started.
