In the spring of 1947, the Kuomintang Hu Tsung-nan armies attacked Yan’an in large scale. In order to ensure the safety of Mr. Li Dingming, vice chairman of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region Government, the party Central Committee and the border government decided that he should be transferred to Quyu Town, Luliang County, Shanxi Province, Shanxi Province. In late March, Mr. Li came to Quyu Village, Quyu Town, where he lived for more than six months before he returned to the Shensi-Kansu-Ningsia Border Region in November 1947. During this period, he ignored his own safety and did not take a good rest. He did a lot of meaningful work while he was ill. However, this history, few people know,
